Overview

This tour program offers a six-day adventure in northern Vietnam, exploring the natural and cultural wonders of Hanoi and Pu Luong Natural Reserve. You will trek through the beautiful valley of Pu Luong, see the tumbling rice terraces, visit the ethnic villages of the white Thai people, and experience their lifestyle and culture. You will also enjoy bamboo rafting on the Cham River, visit a bat cave, and see the bamboo water wheels. You will have a chance to learn about the history and culture of Hanoi and visit the Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, Literature of Temple, and Hoa Lo prison. The tour includes accommodation, meals, transportation, and guide service.

Pu Luong is a natural reserve in northern Vietnam, about 160 km southwest of Hanoi. It is a popular destination for trekking, ecotourism, and cultural exploration. Pu Luong has a beautiful landscape of rice terraces, forests, waterfalls, and ethnic villages. Pu Luong is also home to a rich biodiversity of flora and fauna. Pu Luong can be visited all year round, but the best time is from September to April when the weather is dry and the rice fields are golden

Day 1 :

Ha noi – Arrival (-/-/D)

Arrive at Noi Bai airport. Pick up and transfer to downtown. Free at leisure in the afternoon.
Check-in time at the hotel is 14:00. Dinner at the restaurant.
Accommodation at a hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2 :

Ha noi – Pu Luong (B/L/ D)

Trekking: 2 hours
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Pu Luong Natural Reserve. The highlight of this road is experiencing the beauty of Pu Luong Nature Reserve and the everyday life and culture of the white Thai people. Lunch at a local restaurant. Reach Pu Luong, check in and the group will walk around Don village near Pu Luong retreat to see the lifestyle of Thai People. Enjoy dinner at Puluong Retreat.
Overnight at Pu Luong retreat.

Day 3 :

Pu Luong (B/L/ D)

Trekking: 5 hours
AM: Breakfast at the hotel. Take a short drive from the retreat to 02 villages: Lan Trong village and Lan Ngoai village, then travelers will walk to see tumbling rice terraces, through small paths shrouded in vegetation to slowly reveal a picturesque village sitting at the base of a towering mountain. Your camera will not be able to sit still! Continuing to the base of the valley, you weave between roads and farmland, villages and wild fields, ponds and rivers, mountains and open land. We see the lifestyle of Thai ethnic people (walking about 3 hours).

PM: Take a short drive from the retreat and then trek to the bamboo water wheel area and travelers will walk through beautiful hillside villages, and magnificent rice paddies, seeing hand-crafted bamboo water wheels. The group will take the bamboo rafting to see landscapes along the Cham River (30 mins).
Come back to Pu Luong retreat.
Dinner at the restaurant.
Overnight at Pu Luong retreat.

Day 4 :

Pu Luong – Kho Muong (B/L/D)

Trekking: 6 hours
AM: Breakfast at the hotel. Take a short drive from the retreat to Bang village, Going down into the beautiful valley leading to Kho Muong. Along the way, you will have a chance to enjoy beautiful terraced rice fields. After enjoying the view from above we will visit the isolated village is surrounded by a huge mountain range, you can come to visit a local family, this is a great chance to learn more about the lifestyle and culture of the locals. Have picnic lunch
PM: You will walk around the village and go to visit a big cave (Bat cave) short hike to the cave close to the village. For those who want a deeper look. We can go deeper inside the cave (proper shoes and torches are required). Heading to Dong Dieng village, you will go thru the natural reserve zone. The car and driver will pick you up and transfer you back to Pu Luong Retreat for dinner.

Day 5 :

Pu Luong – Hanoi and city tour in Hanoi (B/L/D)

AM: Breakfast at Pu Luong retreat. Transfer back to Hanoi. Lunch at a local restaurant in Hanoi.
PM: Visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, Literature of Temple, Hoa Lo prison.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Accommodation at a hotel in Hanoi.

Day 6 :

Hanoi city and Departure (B/-/ -)

Breakfast at the hotel. Then transfer to the airport to take the departure flight.
End of program.
