Lao Bao border – Hue – Hoi An – Lao Bao Border

AM: Coach and guide pick up the group at the Suvanakhet border to Quang Tri via Lao Bao (route No.9 in 2 hours ~ 80km). Lunch en route (Please note that clients might be arranged ferry fee by themselves). On the way to Dong Ha, you can stop by to visit Khe Sanh.
Optional: Visit the Vinh Moc tunnels, dug to accommodate an underground village safe from American air raids
in the north of the DMZ. Proceed south to Hue(3 hours ~ 140km). Dinner at a restaurant.
Overnight in Hue.

Breakfast at the hotel.
Optional: Boat trip on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda and Minh Mang's tomb. Continue by car to visit Imperial Citadel and Khai Dinh tombs. Lunch at a local restaurant in Hue.
PM: Ride to Hoi An (3,5 hours ~ 150km), the scenic 4-hour drive via Hai Van pass. Optional: Visit Cham Museum and Marble Mountain on the way (If time permit).
Dinner at a restaurant.
Overnight in Hoi An.

Breakfast at the hotel. Optional: Visit Hoi An old quarter, Phuc Kien Pagoda, Old House, and Japanese Bridge. Lunch at a restaurant. Ride to Hue via Danang.
Dinner at a restaurant.
Overnight in Hue.

Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning leave to Suwannakhet via Dong Ha, Lao Bao Border. Lunch at a restaurant on the way.
